Whole Madagascan premium quality bourbon vanilla pods have a delicate, sweet flavour with floral, creamy notes. The famous vanilla pod is the queen of sweet food, owing to its irresistible taste. The long black pods contain sticky seeds that are removed to flavour custard, panna cotta, chocolate and milkshakes. The empty pods can also be infused to release seductively sweet flavours. Vanilla pods are the world’s second most expensive spice after saffron due to the complex cultivation process. Over 80% of pods grow in Madagascar due to its ideal climate.
