Onion Powder

This premium onion powder will give you the characteristic flavour of onion and can be used to replace chopped onion.

A dehydrated, ground form of onion, onion powder has a pungent, sweet, and slightly spicy flavour and aroma, often being used as a substitute for fresh onions in recipes where the texture of fresh onions is not desired. Onion powder naturally has a longer shelf life than fresh onions which makes it more convenient to use in recipes and also boasts plenty of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, vitamin B6, iron, and potassium.

Typically 3 level teaspoons for one medium chopped onion.
