Creole Spice Blend is essential for Louisianan cooking in which bold and punchy flavours of paprika, onion, roasted garlic, cayenne, thyme and oregano infuse to make a deliciously well-rounded spice mix. This flavorful and aromatic blend of spices reflects the diverse cultural influences found in the region.
Creole cooking originated in Louisiana, blending all kinds of influences from the many different people who found their way to the city. Alongside Native Americans there were French, Spanish, Acadian, Caribbean, West African and German populations who have all left their mark and contributed to this fascinating cuisine. Without this unique blend, we wouldn’t have Gumbo, Jambalaya or po-boy sandwiches!
Our Creole Spice Blend is great to spice up sausage casseroles, beef stews and scrambled eggs. Try mixing with mayonnaise or yoghurt to create a dip or dressing.
