Caraway Seeds Organic, Whole

Organic Caraway seeds have a sweet and spicy flavour with notes of mint, aniseed and orange. The seeds are used within Middle Eastern cuisine to flavour sweet bread and they give rye breads their distinctive taste.

The versatile seeds are also used across Eastern Europe to flavour soups and stews, such as the Hungarian Goulash. Found in German and Polish versions of sauerkraut, these striped seeds compliment duck, pork and work wonderfully with cabbage, potatoes and other root vegetables.
