250g tempe
1 egg
1 tsp Garlic Powder Smoked
4 tsp Peri-Peri Seasoning
½ tsp salt
½ pepper
4 burger buns
Lettuce
Tomatoes, sliced
Cucumbers, sliced
Onions, sliced thinly and fried
Cooking oil
In a pan, heat up a dash of cooking oil over a medium heat. Chop the tempe up into large chunks and fry until light brown on all sides. Remove from heat and set aside.
Add the tempe to a mixing bowl and mash with a potato masher until crumbly.
Add the Garlic Powder Smoked, Peri-Peri Seasoning, salt and pepper to the bowl and mix well.
Crack an egg into the mixture and stir until mixed well. Using your hands, form six burger patties.
In a pan, heat a dash of cooking oil over a medium heat. Add the burgers and fry until browned (about 3 minutes). Flip and cook on the other side.
Assemble your burger using your choice of vegetables and sauces. Serve with chips.
