One pouch of Seasoned Pioneers Mulled White Wine Spice Mix
200g Demerara sugar
400ml water
Two bottles of white wine
Orange slices and cinnamon sticks to garnish, if required.
Mix the pouch contents with the Demerara sugar and water.
Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove from the heat and let it stand for 30 minutes to allow the flavours to infuse.
Add the wine and heat until almost boiling.
Strain and serve hot, garnished with orange slices and cinnamon sticks if desired.
(For a non-alcoholic version replace the water with tea and the wine with white grape juice).
