Try this recipe for Hong Kong French Toast. Crispy on the outside and soft and tasty on the inside.
Step 1:
Take two slices of bread and spread a thin layer of peanut butter on one side of each slice. Sandwich them together and cut off the edges. Repeat with the other slices of bread.
Step 2:
In a dish, crack open two eggs and add the milk, cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Whisk together until well combined.
Step 3:
Heat a tablespoon of cooking oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.
Step 4:
Take a sandwich and dip into the egg mixture for 15 seconds on each side. Transfer to the frying pan and cook on each side for around 45 seconds or until golden brown. Continue by frying the sides of the sandwich for 15 seconds on each edge. Repeat with the other 3 sandwiches.
Step 5:
To serve, add a square of butter on top and pour a generous helping of condensed milk on top.
