2 chicken breasts
Pink of salt
Pinch of pepper
1 ½ tsp Herbs de Provence
2 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
250ml chicken stock
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp lemon juice
This classic French blend of dried herbs is perfect for cooking chicken. Here is our Herbes de Provence chicken recipe.
Step 1:
Season the chicken breasts with a pinch of salt and pepper on each side.
Step 2:
In a frying pan, heat the oil over a medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6 minutes on each side.
Step 3:
Remove the chicken from the pan and cover with a lid to keep warm.
Step 4:
Add the garlic to the pan and cook for one minute.
Step 5:
Add the stock and the Herbes de Provence to the pan and stir to get the browned bits off the bottom of the pan. Simmer for 3-4 minutes
Step 6:
Add the butter and lemon juice and turn the flame off. Swirl with a spoon until the butter has melted.
Step 7:
Add the chicken breasts back into the pan and spoon the juice over them, flipping to coat both sides.
